Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with MeatMonthly.co.za and the HH Meat Factory Shop. We are committed to delivering quality products and excellent service. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled for both our online and in-store customers.
1. Perishable Goods (Meat, Cold Cuts, Hampers)
– Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of fresh or frozen meat once delivered or collected, unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
– If you receive a product that is spoiled, unsafe to eat, or not what you ordered, please notify us within 24 hours of purchase or delivery, with proof (photos and order details).
– Once verified, we will provide either:
• A replacement product at no extra cost, or
• A store credit/refund to the value of the affected items.
2. Non-Perishable Goods (Pantry Items, Branded Products, Accessories)
– Non-perishable items may be returned within 7 days of purchase or delivery, provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
– Proof of purchase (till slip, invoice, or online order confirmation) is required.
– Refunds are issued via EFT or cash.
3. Incorrect Orders or Short Deliveries (MeatMonthly.co.za)
– If your online order is incomplete, incorrect, or contains substitutions you did not agree to, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
– We will arrange for replacement items, a credit note, or a refund to your original payment method.
4. Factory Shop Purchases (HH Meat Factory, In-Store)
– Perishable items: No returns once sold, unless spoiled, unsafe to eat, or not what you ordered at the time of purchase.
– Non-perishable items: Return within 7 days, in original packaging with proof of purchase.
5. Exemptions
– Specials, hampers, and discounted goods may not be eligible for return or refund unless spoiled, unsafe to eat, or not what you ordered.
– We reserve the right to refuse a return if the goods were mishandled, improperly stored, or reported outside the timeframes set above.
6. Refund Timeline
– Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
– Loyalty points (where applicable) will be credited back to your loyalty account balance.
